Project surprise chermaine - 22nd birthdae

second attempt at this blog..typed one last nite but anyway...

Fridae, good friday. I went for tuition then was group discussion at Hotel Rendenvous. After which we went shoppin at suntec... I was supposed to meet qj ard 7. That i knew. I was to dress up, bring camera and windbreaker cos it would be windy. My guess then was - we are goin to sentosa! kinda our fav hangout. Thought he would bring a picnic basket along or sumthing... since i know he is on budget these days.

So oh well.. walked and walked. Its reali great fun seein ceci n ken tease each other. ard 5pm kenneth mentioned that he was hungry. So oh well i thought they shd go back first since they are goin to eat at bukit timah anyway... That was wat i told them too. I was planning to either go to some cafe to start my revision or start with economics lab by that i mean shopping.. haha.. but gnette REFUSED. I was so sad then... for it made total sense for them to leave first but they kept walking and walking in the name of accompanying me to wait for qj...

and so we went.. at least one whole round in suntec. finally, 615. They allowed to let me off and i travelled to bishan by mrt (while they drove over..) At bishan.. qj was not done yet. so walk ard again.. was so dazed by e end of it all. I didnt recognise QJ's car when it drove into the busstop.. buses behind were making their unhappiness heard.

Once i board e bus, i started to whine (as usual) it isnt pretty gettin up e car while there were two buses behind la horning away. I opened the door and the bus went "POR!!!!" then e car moved in front *shocked*. Then he stopped the car again and i boarded it "POR!!" again it went. Yeah then i started to whine.. " tired.. gnette dont let me go.. why didn she let me go.. dazing already.. so tired so tired... "

He was ignoring me.. almost totally.. (i shd hav known) then he started looking for his wallet.. search high and low.. so i opened up all e compartments in the car too lo.. nope no wallet. he said it was at home (come to think of it that wasnt too realistic) since i was already in the whining mode, so i started again "hiyah i treat u la.. why u always forgets abt ur wallet? first mth dinner was like that.. now also like tt..." but he insisted that we are on the way n shd go back to take e wallet.

fine we are back to his hse again. I didn know where we were supposed to go. It was supposed to b a surprise, so ok lo.. went back.. still in quite a dazed mode.. then the gate remote didn work.. (i did realise that i was a different remote) press and press... so he called his sister to help open e gate.. we drove in, and parked in e middle of no where. he was supposed to go pick up his wallet n a new car remote. then i waited lo. bored nothing to do, so i took out my cam n started lookin thru e pics.

nex moment he came by my side of e door. I was wondering wat happened. thought he has someting to tell me.. prob need me to go up n wait or something.then came a bouquet of flowers. pink tulips. That was sweet enough.. then i was "ok thank you... 你骗我回来就是拿这个阿?" then i was told to come out of the car n soon i saw 24th mc.. omg.. ceci gnette kenneth were all ard.. jo, suru, sean bdn zee.. hoho impressed. but the stream of pple didn stop there.. i saw OAC, 4/9, s6c, even F4!! super shocked... there were like cameras shoved into my face.. everyone was there (heard they attempted a birthday song but only e first line came out.. ) soon my vision was blurred by tears.. wanna turn to some one.. started to step back to qj.. started to cry.. then he urged me to go fwd. his father was looking down from their unit. I was surround by all my friends. think i managed a few "they thanks for coming" took some tissues from mj (whom i haven met for such a long time) and yeah.. the party started and i we moved over to the swing n bbq pit below his hse... there was food catered there!! can u believe it? lots of thought went thru my mind.. oh my god.. how long did he take to plan this? wouldn it cost a bomb? I was reali shaking already.. hands were cold... what a shock!

It was reali great seein all my friends under one roof again.. Haven reali got to chance to meet up with mei n mj, so was reali surprised to see them.. OAC's last outing was like... jan? didn reali had e time to meet up.. the gals are bz... e guys are rather involved in their halls n cca n wat not.. 4/9.. thou i met them jus a week ago.. but that was quite a surprise too for its like they knew it all the while, even while we were out.. yet they didn tell! 24th.. seen them ard.. but the last time we hang out as a grp was cny too. Yeah it was reali great.

Used to think that it would be super hard to be the host of a birthday party.. so many grps to attend to, all the limelight.. i thought i would never managed one. Didnt have e chance to do one last yr.. was feelin sorry for that. was stayin in Ext A.. then there was urban escape. Prior to that was attending tons of pple's 21st bdae party. almost all wkends were spent goin to some bbq or chalets or watsoeva. did ask diff grps of friends out during that period. but yeah... did entertain some thoughts abt having a birthday party this yr instead but never took it seriously.

and so there was the talkin to pple.. takin of polaroids, receiving of gifts, cake cutting... all the usual stuff about birthday party, but the only difference that this was mine. and this was a successful surprise party by my dearest. =)

yeah.. and thanks everyone for coming.. (thou its not my birthday yet.. prolly thats why its a success) and i'm glad that u guys were satisfied by the fact that i was trully surprised and i even cried from that. ;p

this shall be a nite i would alway remember.
