1. Inter-division Netball (IDN)
   
   First training was 2 wks ago. 2hrs training session at kallang netball center after work on wed. It reali felt gd to be in a team again. the last time we had that was jc's sports fiesta... We were all trained as beginners to the game, assumed to have no prior experience of playing it. I was praised for my footwork (ha!) The last time i truly played netball was in pri 5-6 but boy were we serious about it then. I wasnt even in the sch team. I was a sch team basketball player playin WD for my class in the interclass netball tournament. I think we got first for both yrs. cant reali remember. Missed the feeling of fighting for the honor of the class with a grp of best friends with all the other (guy) classmates and teachers cheering beside you.
   
   Miss that feeling.
   
   Next wed (1 nov) will be the actual tournament. I hope i get to do WD again.
   
   
   
2. Staff-Seminar
   
   My work place has this annual seminar to share overall plans and directions with all staffs. As with previous years, this year's seminar will be in the form of a mini musical with all the messages and info weaved into the storyline. As i won’t b able to make for the actual show, the OIC kindly let us go for the full dress instead.
   
   They were still going thru their tech-run (somewhat) when I first stepped into the DBS auditorium and I was immediately overwhelmed with nostalgia. The emcee was running through the script and the light n sound peeps were doing everything but the right thing with their consoles. *(haha) OIC speaking into the walkie, giving cues and instructions in the cold dark audi. The sound of curtain drawing, cast whispering at the back stage…
   
   awww….
   
   Then came the curtain call. Things were getting surreal.
   
   
   ” 我们明年黄城夜韵，再见！”
