Bookworm!
I bought 3 books today! Never had the practice of buying books. Always either rent or borrowed them since i dont have the practice of re-readin books that i own. The only time i bought books was during JC when HCJ gave us fifteen bucks each, each year to buy books at the book fair (remember?)
anyway! 3 books: Lord of the flies, hundred years of solitude and five people u meet in heaven
'Lord of e flies' was one of the book that i had always wanted to read since Ms Lee's (now mrs ting) english lesson. The other one was 'A brave new world'. i was quite shocked to learn that e book is actually rather thin.
hundred years of solitude... saw that in the co-op that day. wanted to buy it but couldnt find enough reason to. Think i've heard of it somewhere in the past cant remember..
5 people u meet in heaven.. i jus finished tuesdays w morrie today. lots of teachings in the book reason. no way one can digest it through one read. One book i've decided not to resell to the rental store. Still pondering over a few of the lessons. One: It is never too late to be involved. Two: One should built a live with love and relationships, not money n wateva e culture says.
So! i decided to pay some attn to friends who were drifting aparts... Still a believer of platonic friendship, i tried to act as thou things are returned to normacy. (at least that was once normacy to me) smses and msges. At least i am trying.
Second, whether or not pple are priortisers or first-come-first-server (refer to the second last entry) i shall still take initiatives to ask them out. Be the group freak i am. Whine and complain but i should still do what i think i should. =)
But somehow i think that i am too young for the book. Dont realli wanna put death in my mind now. sadly, think the book will come in handy in future.
Been reading since the ending of last hols. Its been great readin. =)
I should start on my modules' reading list thou...
